Tulare County is about a three hour drive from Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Sacramento. Don’t have a car? There are several other ways of getting here so that you can discover the sequoias.
BY CAR
Tulare County can be reached via Highway 99 through the Central Valley. Entrance to Sequoia & Kings Canyon is on Highway 198.
BY TRAIN
Amtrak provides service through the Hanford Station with connecting bus service to Visalia. Greyhound also services the area.
BY BUS
Air service is available through Fresno-Yosemite International Airport (with V-Line Shuttle Service to Visalia Transit Center) or Meadows Field in Bakersfield.

The Sequoia Shuttle provides seasonal (Late May to early September) shuttle service multiple times daily from area hotels directly into Sequoia National Park. Reservations are required. SequoiaShuttle.com
